While acknowledging that there is no "silver bullet" to the opioid crisis, she argues that modernizing how prescription medications are transmitted between prescribers and pharmacies is a good start, citing key benefits of e-Prescribing.

Furthermore, Tanya explains how e-Prescribing “enhances team-based, patient-centred care by providing secure two-way communication between prescriber and pharmacist.”
