The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is partnering with Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) to offer family physicians a new guide on “Advanced and Meaningful Use of EMRs”.

Topics will include the use of EMR data for quality improvement, patient oriented services, and e-prescribing, amongst others.

Thank you to those who provided feedback on the preliminary content outline for the EMR BAG 2.0 that was shared back in the spring.

We are calling for Expressions of Interest from EMR champions across Canada to participate in a working group and contribute subject matter expertise for this upcoming publication, by helping to write one of the modules.

Attached is the call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) which includes details of participation for your consideration. Please feel free to share with any colleagues in your network who may be interested.

To submit an expression of interest (EOI):

Send a paragraph (maximum 250 words) outlining your background and experience with EMRs by 6 October 2017 to Alison Soares (asoares [at] cfpc.ca).
