Description of the issue
On April 13, Jessica Bota, Senior Informatics Analyst from Apelon has notified us of a potential equivalency error found in the March 2020 SNOMED CT Canadian Edition release. After verification, this issue was confirmed. An equivalency error has been confirmed to be present between two concepts: 22841000087100 and 22921000087102 where the defining relationship Procedure site – Direct: Upper limb structure (body structure) is the same for both concepts. The error is characterized by a misalignment between the Fully Specified Name description for Computed tomography of abdomen, pelvis and bilateral upper limbs with contrast (procedure) and its value for Procedure site - Direct (attribute), which should have been modeled as:
List of concepts Concept ID: 22841000087100 Fully Specified Name: Computed tomography of abdomen, pelvis and bilateral upper limbs with contrast (procedure) Concept ID: 22921000087102 Fully Specified Name: Computed tomography of abdomen, pelvis and upper limb with contrast (procedure) Remedial Actions Taken
