Hello everyone,
We will be holding our October meeting next week on Tuesday, October 27th (11AM ET). Add to my Calendar As part of the meeting, we will continue our theme from last month on patient facing applications with a presentation on the Connect2Care consumer health portal from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. This portal allows clients and their families online access to their health information and supports engagement in their care. Joanne Maxwell, who has a clinical background in Occupational Therapy and is a Project Management Professional has led the implementation of Connect2Care and will be presenting this work for us. Also, as part of the meeting, we wanted to discuss with you what areas we should focus on as a community. To date, we have had some great presenters from across the country share information and lessons learned about the important projects being planned and implemented here in Canada. We certainly hope to continue with this knowledge sharing, but also felt it would be worthwhile to identify subjects and potential initiatives that might be worthwhile endeavours for the community. Here are a few topics we thought we would discuss:
