Event is in Eastern Time

Interoperable electronic health record (iEHR) adoption has reached a critical mass of users with iEHRs available in all provinces and territories. Clinicians and other health care professionals in hospital and community settings are accessing important patient information such as lab and diagnostic imaging results, medication profiles, and immunization records. The overall user landscape represents about half of all potential iEHR users across Canada and historical trends suggest that the accelerated growth will continue over the next few years. With more mature use of iEHRs, a broader range of benefits can be realized and the ability to support healthcare transformation increases.

During the webinar, Bobby Gheorghiu and Sukirtha Tharmalingam from Infoway’s Evaluation Services team will:

• Demonstrate the growth in use of the iEHR over the past decade and explain the methodology behind Infoway’s adoption measures

• Highlight users experience with iEHRs across the country and discuss the concept of a maturity model to benefits realization over time
