Since 2010, the pCLOCD includes French and English as part of the maintenance process. When English attributes changes sufficiently the existing French translation is no longer accurate. This requires us to review those terms. As part of this process, we work with the French Translation Working Group that carefully assesses terms and provides new translations.
Recently, there has been an interest from implementers to donate proposed revised terms, in addition to donating newly translated terms for review and inclusion into pCLOCD. For these donations, we will continue to work with the French translation working group to ensure we select an accurate and approved french translation of a pCLOCD term for inclusion in the impending release. If you are interested in the opportunity to volunteer help in support of this work, we invite you to please let us know by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
