Thank you for your response. Do we need to buy or have licence to use Apelon 'TeamManager' or we can use it as a Canada Health Infoway user. Thanks

OK, the answer seems to be "no local installation needed" as per http://www.apelon.com/solutions/terminology-tooling/termmanager :
" Apelon’s TermManager lets you map your existing data items to national standards via a simple Web-based interface. Just import your local terms from a text file or spreadsheet, choose your mapping target (we support SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, RadLex, and many more), and get started. You have complete control over the work flow so you always know how your project is progressing. When you’re ready, just export your mappings. Whether you’re mapping one term or a thousand, TermManager makes it easy to conquer terminology complexity. " Thanks ![]() |

What is meant by "TermManager .... works with TermsWorks"?
Will still some local installation be needed (TermWorks or components or else), or all will be "web-based"? Thanks! |

Infoway is pleased to announce the release of TermManager, a new terminology mapping tool that works with TermsWorks to significantly enhance the creation and maintenance of terminology maps.
The TermManager mapping tool allows users to map existing local data to SNOMED CT via a simple web-based interface. TermManager leverages the semantic matching algorithms employed by TermWorks, plus role-based security, multi-user workflow options, and flexible output formats to help users complete all their terminology mapping projects. TermManager is planned to be operational by end of August 2018. Further information about the tool, the training schedule and how to get started will be posted on this forum in early August 2018.
