Thanks Randy, I will leave it with Dan to work with HL7 to have this deprecated and have it point to the existing OID which will be registered by EOD.

Hi Joel,
Dan Black had indicated to us that the 2.16.840.1.113883.17.4234 OID was to be deprecated and replaced by the newly submitted OID. The new OID has been in use by Microquest in Alberta for quite a while (Nov 2016, as far as I can tell). Microquest just needs to have a nationally visible OID now, and would prefer to keep using the original Alberta OID for this purpose. If needed, I can send you (privately) the email exchange. Randy |
