Hi,
As requested, the "PrescribeIT - Practitioner Identifier Type" (OID file) has been reviewed. Here is our feedback. The following four OIDs are correct (confirmed): (1) urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.4.262 - Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Physician License Identifier (2) urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.4.263 - Newfoundland and Labrador Canada Dentist License Number (3) urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.4.265 - Newfoundland and Labrador Canada Optometrist License Number and Labrador College of Optometrists (4) urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.4.266 - Newfoundland and Labrador Canada Nurse License Number Incorrect OID: urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.3.7764 - The Newfoundland & Labrador Pharmacy Board. Therefore, please deprecate this incorrect OID. The correct OID for "The Newfoundland & Labrador Pharmacy Board" is "2.16.840.1.113883.4.261". It is currently in use with the NL Pharmacy Network. Thanks, Sisira (NLCHI). |

Hi Dean,
Checking your Ontario Jurisdiction OIDs: Please correct the following. College of Dental Hygienists, should be urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.3.239.13.7 (instead of listed urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.3.239) College of Chiropodists, should be urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.3.239.13.17 (instead of urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113883.3.239.13.61) (See http://www.hl7.org/OID/index.cfm?Comp_OID=2.16.840.1.113883.3.239.13.7 and http://www.hl7.org/OID/index.cfm?Comp_OID=2.16.840.1.113883.3.239.13.17 for reference) The remaining ON OIDs look good. Recently there as a change in OIDs to represent a couple of the Colleges in Canada. As a follow-up to this the PrescribeIT team would like to get confirmation that the OIDs we have currently available for use in the PrescribeIT product are the correct OIDs.
I would like to ask that the representatives from each jurisdiction take a look at the spreadsheet (link below) and confirm that we have included the correct OIDs for the Colleges that are listed. The list does not contain all the Colleges in a jurisdiction, only those whose members can prescribe. Thanks for the help. Dean PrescribeIT - Practitioner Identifier Type (2019-02-26) |
