EHR Standards Education & Training Survey
The “EHR Standards Education & Training: Assessing Canadian Needs” survey will investigate the current knowledge levels, future education requirements, training preferences and expectations of respondents as they relate to EHR health information standards, specifically:
- DICOM (Digital Imaging & Communications in Medicine)
- HL7 (Health Level Seven)
- ISO/TC 215 (International Organization for Standardization/Technical Committee for Health Informatics)
- LOINC® (Logical Observation Identifiers, Names & Codes)

The responses will contribute to the development of a pan-Canadian education and training business model being designed by the Infoway SC, with the advice and guidance of the Infoway Standards Collaborative Education & Training Task Force. The business model will focus on:
- Addressing your health information standards training needs,
- Ensuring the ongoing education and support for projects and programs that involve health information standards, and,
- Providing a single point of contact that will collect and process education and training requests for Infoway Standards Collaborative members.
